Two Lumps For Me, Please...

Two Lumps For Me, Please...

Well, we've done 'Doctor Who'-related videos and a tea-related video, so I suppose it was inevitable that we'd next try a 'Doctor Who' Tea related video...

Now, we have got an unopened box of the old Green's Dalek Cookie Kit in the cupboard, but given that its Best Before Date is apparently the end of May 2008, my minimal training in Health & Safety tells me it might not be a good idea to try and make anything edible from that particular packet.
And come to think of it, there was a can of Crosse & Blackwell 'Doctor Who' Pasta Shapes that we only threw away when it started to go rustier on the outside...

But you would not believe the range of 'Doctor Who' and 'Sherlock' Teas we'vr got in our cupboard...
Now, I cannot really get on with the more exotic Herbal and Fruit Teas that are out there. Mostly they seem to taste of Dust to me. And although Lisa is partial to coffee, I was put off it at an early age when I was presented with a plastic cup of the stuff at a Village Flower Show. I don't know what had happened to the milk that was used, but I was sure that coffee shouldn't have some sort of rubbery skin floating on the surface...

We've spent a few quid on the various varieties available from Adagio Teas and found them to be interesting (apart from the liquorice-based Ninth Doctor one where we admitted defeat and threw it away) with the TARDIS, Eleventh Doctor and River Song being high up our charts.

There's also the wondefully-named 'UNIT Dating Controversy Tea' which wins the award for most esoteric reference.

For yesterday's video, we made a bit of a concoction  in our TARDIS teapot and also got to show off our TARDIS teacosy. Inevitably, we have a range of 'Doctor Who' mugs in the cupboard, but we've yet to get out things like the Neon Logo one...

Lisa also ran through the other character-themed tins and we asked the important question "What does Captain Jack smell of?"...

Of course, you'll have to watch the video to find out our suggested answer to that, but we suspect that John Barrowman would agree with it...
