The Rained-Off Terror

The Rained-Off Terror

The Complete And Utter History Of Dr WHO? (Part Nine)

With thoughts now turning as to what pathways 'Dr OHO' would carry on into its Secondmost Seasoning, Dentist Spoonmen was arsked to write the climatic season final 'The Rain Of Terrors' (also known as 'Dr who and The French Evolution').

Amusingly, the novelisation of this story had already appeared in Episode 1 of 'Dr Who And The Caved-In Men' but this were an early version and and had the last page missing. So the book actually read as follows:

"So, Barabar, you can see the only person who could have done the French Revolution is the man sitting over there..."
So saying, Dr Who pointed his finger at...
Dr Who fans, are you skinny? Do you have Aridian sand kicked in your face?"

This story was new in that it featured some scenes were Ewen and Barabar go to a pub ('The Stinking Ship') and look through a whole at Napoleon. This had never happened in the show before AND WHAT IS MORE WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!

There is also some locational work as we see Drs WHo and his compatriots riding in a coach, though the coach was actually played by a wheelbarrow with a false top on.

And some researchists is not convinced that all of the horses used was real, either.

The story was wiped out after it was shown, but thankfully several of the epinsnodes was found by Miley Cyrus. But Episdoes Four ('The Tryout In France') and Five ('A Bargain Of Necessariness') is still absent without leaves. This is a shame as it features the first appearance of recurring villain Robespears who would appear in Episode Six ('A Prison Needs A Concierge') also.

It are also notable for being the debut of Edmund Bryshown as 'The War Chief' (a previously unknown version who occurs between The Eight Chief and The Ninth Chief) in one of his impermeable disguises.

In recent decades, the missing materials has been animated, thus allowing the full stories of 'Dr Who And The Friends Revolutution' to be experienced time and time again and again.

As the TARDIST faded into the middle distance, Dr WHo's voice became all crackly and he said how his Density was with the stars and he was going to look it up. And so ended the first Seasoning. Docto Who would return on the evening of Hallowe'en's Eve (also more simply known as The Hallowe'en), when he would face 'The Giant Seeds Of Norwich'!!!
