Our Cheery Guide To Seasons 16 and 17

Our Cheery Guide To Seasons 16 and 17

It's a warm one today, so I'm taking that as an excuse to keep out of the sun and instead knock up a quick summary of the last few videos we've done, which (as you can probably guess from the above title) cover Seasons 16 and 17 of yer actual 'Doctor Who'.

Once Twitch has reached the end of Season 26, we will return to things like 'Are You Being Served?', but they're getting through the stories at a rate of knots, we we're keeping up as well as we can and are actually quite glad that they take a bit of a break over the weekend.

But, anyway, we've managed to split the two seasons into four videos, which go something like this...

First of all, we cover 'The Ribos Operation', 'The Pirate Planet' and 'The Stones Of Blood' here.

Given the eccentric nature of our filing system, the Great Big Box that Season Sixteen lives in made it one of the easier ones to find quickly, though we do wonder whether the limited edition release numbering system is of any interest these days. Ours is Number 9645, by the way...

Next up is, predictably, a chat about 'The Androids Of Tara', 'The Power Of Kroll' and 'The Armageddon Factor' which can be seen here.

Concerned viewers need not adjust their set, as their eyes are not deceiving them. My hair and beard were thinned out in anticipation of the hot weather, as I was in danger of being mistaken for that bloke from Cerne Abbas in 'Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World'...

(The hairy one, not the one drawn in chalk)

Then I contrived to catch a cold, which means I was all snuffly for the Season 17 stuff, but such are the perils of trying to produce stuff on a quick turnaround. It really confused the YouTube subtitles when I tried to talk about Vicks Sinex and Night Nurse on the video for 'Destiny Of The Daleks' and 'City Of Death' which can be seen here.

And to round it off, you have the deep joy of seeing my Erato impression in our piece on 'The Creature From The Pit', 'Nightmare Of Eden' and 'The Horns Of Nimon' which can be seen here.

Though for some reason, it does seem to end up looking more like Emu...

I blame it on the weather...
