And They Will Come Home...

And They Will Come Home...

A shortish blog post today, but a decent amount to report nevertheless.

We had a very nice surprise in our inbox first thing this morning, with the delivery of another new article on a subject we're not very familair with. Though we'll say no more at this point, as it probably won't appear on the forthcoming Episode 26, but you never know...

We've another new logo variant from Martin, which might give a rather big clue as to one of the shows we will feature very soon, so here it is...

We've also knocked together some vague Writers' Notes as a number of people have expressed interest in helping out in the future. Although we always say that the best way to get a feel for the 'RTA' style is to listen to the last couple of episodes, it's sometimes helpful to jot something down in writing as well.

Also, as it's been a few days since we last did a video, we treated ourselves to an episode of 'Bless This House' from 1974, with 'And They Will Come Home...' by Carla Lane.

Paul has talked about 'Bless This House' on Episode 22 and we've seen the first couple of seasons, but we jumped ahead to this one based on the write-up.

Although in the end, the description didn't give too much away about the plot, which sees Sid hiding in the airing cupboard and guzzing whisky from a home-made baby bottle poked through a hole drilled in the door; something you don't get to see every day of the week!

Now I like the odd bit of whisky now and then, but the sheer volume that Sid packs away and the speed at which he manages it did make my mind boggle more than a little...

Our video about 'And They Will Come Home...' can be seen here.
